Hello 👋
Re: Hello 👋
Haha cheers Yorick,
I normally use V02s but decided to try the Pirelli superbike slicks for that outing at Snetterton, was impressed with them, using 125/70 and 200/65, crazy the difference in just how quick the bike would go on its side and the SCX compound seemed to hold up well.
Thanks Bigyin, I'll be sure to enjoy Portimao, I'll try getting some go pro footage up when I'm back, it's our first visit and I'm really looking forward to it.
As for winning inters, it would be a welcome change to win something lol.

Re: Hello 👋
Portimao is bloody lovely. I dream of going back regularly! (Although on a much slower bike - with luck I will do all the the days and not crash!! LOL)R1Dave wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 10:58 pm Haha cheers Yorick,

Re: Hello 👋
Noggin I can imagine, I must have watched every onboard there is on YouTube, done many laps on Ride 4, just so excited to try the real thing.
Going with a few mates and girlfriends/kids so should be brilliant week away.

Re: Hello 👋
I went solo but met loads of great people there (knew some of the No Limits peeps too, so that helped!)
For me it's a bit like Cadwell on Steroids (I'm sure others will disagree!)
Cadwell is my favourite track, out of the ones I've done, in the UK.
I've only done three Euro tracks and love them all - but Portimao ROCKS
Will look forward to your GoPro from there!!
When I go back, it will be on an old Monster 600 - from a ZX10r! But I suspect that, given I didn't ever use much of the power of the ZX10r, I'll definitely have as much fun!!

Re: Hello 👋
I'm hoping to do Jerez and/or Portimao over winter as they're my nearest circuits.
