I think Suzuki still sell the GSXR750 in some regions, which is why they've allowed it, but it's not had any development for at least a decade.

I think it's a piss take that they're letting the Street Triple enter with a bodged on fairing, They should make a faired one to homologate it!

That would amuse me....re-faired version of a naked derived from a sportsbike.

Well. I don't doubt for a second that Triumph always planned to make a Street Triple when they originally launched the Daytona 675, but still.

It's the new Street Triple tho', the 765.

The old Gaytony is only a 675.

They never made a faired 765.

You'd think that they could easily knock up 250 (or whatever) 765 Daytona's and sell them for a premium just to homologate it.
