Sam Walker has a very ‘colourful’ past (and present i’d suggest).
In other words, he’s a total criminal wanker! He’ll never learn any lessons.
As he says towards the end of the video "... Farkin situations I get into ... "

It's not proper porridge if it doesn't take the skin off your tongue

I though this was going to be about a recent incident. D&C police battenburg lit up a driver in the outside lane, so he stopped. In the outside lane!

What a prick, to say the least. I flicked forward on that video, just knowing he'd kick off at somebody as there was no way that was ever going to be his fault!

It's probably not a case of "not seeing" and more a case of "not realising that the truck isn't moving". Humans are funny like that.
Yup. That's why the Traffic Officers and emergency services often park at a 'fend' angle, an extra visual clue that the vehicle is stopped.
I was able to apply this learning on Sunday!
The M3 was shut by some traffic coppers. As we approached the actual police blockage and were directed up the sliproad Mrs D. asked me "why has he left the boot open and just dumped his car across the lanes?".
"So it's obvious the car's not moving!" says I, as if I already knew

I did tell her how I knew afterwards

Strolling through the town, years ago, a Fiat 127 was alongside the pavement.
One end about 3' from the kerb, the other about 4'.
I looked at it, a bloke walking towards me looked at it. As we crossed he asked "Parked, or abandoned?"

A Woody Allen line I think: 'That's alright, we can walk to the kerb from here.'
My parking skills are terrible, mostly from lack of practice.

When I was on the buses some of the older wagons didn't have hazard warning lights so SOP was to take a seat out and lean it against the rear .

“There were three of them, three police cars left askew across the road in a way that transcended mere parking. It sent out a massive signal to the world saying that the law was here now taking charge of things, and that anyone who just had normal, good and cheerful business to conduct in Lupton Road could just fuck off.”

They can't keep up because you are in the fast lane!
