6 people, 1 hour on the each way and 4 hours on the island, the picnic packing has started.

We're going to need a bigger boat.

Rest.

We returned yesterday from a lovely week in Devon, which was lovely - near Honiton, lots of thatched roofs, pleasant countryside and great weather etc. More sandy beaches where I live though, and the roads were terrible  I'm amazed some of those farm tracks were classified as A-roads :wtf: no wonder the road network down there can't cope with heavy traffic.

Comparatively few decent-sized supermarkets too.

The M5 was shit both going there last Friday and coming back yesterday. Nine hour journeys both days including a couple of brief stops.

The kids loved it in and out of pool/sea, the Tank Museum at Bovington was great etc  I've built a Cobi Tiger tank for #1Son and have yet to build a Panther for #2Son.

Hopefully we'll get the washing done before the rain and get the kids out for walks this weekend

That aside,no plans,I'll take it as it comes.
Here's a job for you then, Skub, to help your tyre finish its days. Pop up to the Bishop's road and take a pic of Benone from the Gortmore VP for me, there's a good chap. We'll be there in 10 days and I can't wait...

PS - you can go the pretty way if you like!
