Trackdays are go, but Wales isn't yet. I know Alan is doing lots and lots to make this happen and you can be sure, if Wales allow it, he'll be ready when they say so.

I'm certainly hopeful for the August date, but we could have booking issues as they've got a load of bookings from earlier in year who will get priority, along with restrictions on group sizes for safety reasons etc. So it may be a squeeze.

Alan updates and chats to me regularly so if anything is going to open up, I'll be near the top of the list to know.

I've not spoken to Alan for about a fortnight now. TBH until they open it up in Wales there's little point, even if we THINK they may do, they also may not. So i'll hold off hassling him for now as their next 2 proposed weekends of the 11th/18th July we're at Silverstone for both weekends, so won't be attending Pembrey for either of them even if they're open/allowed.

So as long as they're allowed to run the 22/23rd August that's what will still be the RTTL event yes. But due to logisitcs for him, i'll wait and confirm all that as they have lots of previously booked riders from cancelled dates and i don't know how they'll be allocated yet.

Update.

We'll (as long as Wales allows us) be playing that weekend. It's small groups, so trust me when i say this, get booking NOW !!! Now now now now !!!

Over the years we've had ridiculous levels of leeway with Alan and PBTD, but due to the small 20 rider groups, that leeway simply isn't there this year. So it's either book now

You'll notice the cost is higher than previous years, that's because of the 20 riders per group as opposed to 30+, so smaller groups needs more money, simple as that.

We've booked Sat 22nd and we'll travel down the day before for pre-trackday camping and banter. Depending on how Alan wants to play things we'll look into the BBQ/catering side of things closer to the time, it may be we call in take-away, it may be Pembrey hosting it, i don't know... i may just bring bread and cheese and a pile of beer. Who cares, it's all about the people and the banter.

Due to the restrictions of COVID 19 I'd be grateful if you wish to come, please let Steve know in the first instance. I have reserved a very limited number of places for you lot and I will confirm in due corse. When reserving your place please supply your name, group required and specific E mail address.

I'll be riding the Multi over and using that....i dont fancy a 700 mile round trip on the little Fazer

Might as well use the big bike for the only thing it hasnt done yet. Its done touring, commuting, fucking about and off road ...just the track left

Get the MT09 owners in and there'll be a good Yamaha triple turnout., oh, and Ducati.
