Got a TZ250 master cylinder for my YPVS, it's exactly the same as a 250LC master cylinder, 350 is 5/8, 250 is 1/2

It definitely made a big improvement on my 350LC when I fitted the 250 master cylinder. Previously it felt really wooden and unresponsive. With the 1/2" m/cyl feel has improved enormously and it actually makes the brakes feel more powerful. I'm sure you'll be very pleased with the improvement.

One legend is that the oversized master cylinder was deliberate, because Norton’s American customers were scared of a good front brake.

Been out and about on the commando a few times in the last two weeks, its been nicely put together by the restorer but its suffering from the I didn't tighten it up much in case I strip a thread syndrome. Todays casualties LH exhaust rose/header screw came loose, and the kickstart too now catching the brand new RH exhaust on the return. All duly tightened but will now sit down and fettle everything I can put a spanner on. Great ride though, still tight and precise steering, Pulls well and sounds a peach. So happy with it, it's not a big fan of hot starting on the kick though.

It may need a push on the ticklers for hot starting.

indeed it will go but copious tickling required! looks like ill be busy bolting stuff up tight for a bit. Hope the motor doesn't suffer the half done up bolts syndrome

If it was me I'd already have invested in a tribal size bottle of blue Loctite and some lockwire.

Friend of mine out here in the colonies is a bit obsessed with them. He has a full set of every year, every model, every color. Same deal with Kaw H2 750's.
