Michelin PR4 or 5
I've currently got PR4s on my Monster 1200. they feel good in the wet and are great in the dry.
I know a few people who swear by the Angel GT per BigYin's comment.

Re: Talk to me of tyres...
I am always willing to accept I had a dud set but I can only report my experience. The rear felt flat (it wasn't), the bike (my normally twitchy Hornet) steered like it was in porridge and the rear slithered in the least hint of rain. The rear was also about 1/4 to 1/3 worn after 600 miles when I ditched them - aside from a pair of Avon SMs, they are the only tyres I have thrown away.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 1:19 pmJust think how the people I passed at Snetterton on a 60bhp bike fitted with pair of Maxxis Super Diamonds must feel, I found them to be okay, they didn't have loads of grip but they let you know what was going on and when you were near the edge of the tyre. The Spin Doctor wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 11:00 amYes, Maxxis, otherwise known as Chen Sing TyresKungFooBob wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 6:20 pm Does anyone make shit tyres these days?
Even the cheap Maxxis that came on the Bus feel great in the wet and dry.
Had a set, hated them AND they delaminated!
You'd have passed me on a set of Pneumants on a 125!

Notice that I only used them for one trackday, they were cooked at the edges by the end of the day.
I also think you'd leave me for dead on the road, as I'm very cautious when I'm unsure of the surface and what other traffic is doing.

With the same requirement, I have been happy with Diablo Rosso 2 and 3 tyres. And now we have a Rosso 4 for 2021

I've had faulty tyres (replaced for free) from Dunlop and Bridgestone. The Spin Doctor wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 11:00 am Yes, Maxxis, otherwise known as Chen Sing Tyres

Oddly, same type of fault, an 'inclusion' like a small lump of coal.
