Well this one wasn't a renowned ace handler.

Just a quid under your 6k mark.

That's a 'Killer' K like the one on Friendface.

Apparently the TLS wasn't the original Suzuki Widow Maker, the K was.

A good mate of mine bought every GSXR1100 as they came out. Given the way the press of the time slated the K,I asked him was he not a bit wary. He said,"we both rode old Z1s in the 70s,this handles like you could only dream of back then".

IF I were to purchase an ancient GSXR, i'd budget for a premium rear shock and ship the forks off to Brooks.

But there's a Laverda 668 Diamante on t'bay local for £3.5K... they're proper hand grenades, right?

Dunno about being a hand grenade, but I thought the engine was hideous when I rode one- my mate had one approx 20 years ago, I had a 1200 bandit at the time ,
was quite excited to ride the Laverda , but couldn't wait to get off it, sticks in my memory as one of the clankiest and agricultural motors ever, just got worse as you revved it too- If you are buying it to ride, I'd definitely try and ride it first, if you know what I mean :D

Six large? And you want something interesting?

Well if you're not interested in that slabby then it has to be a 350LC or Powervalve.

Slabby 1100s are the best handling, but only because the Slingshots are so top heavy, and the K is no worse than the L or M, with the 750s the Slingshots handle better than the early bikes, the early bikes are a lot lighter though.

If you must have a cradle framed GSXR get the GK76 400, it's superb.

Depends what you want though.

They are on the list. But all the one I looked at on ebay look dog rough (although that one looks ok, to be fair).

The bloke who collected my Guzzi this morning said that he did get to do it very often, but was pleased to put on his paper work that the bike he collected was 'Mint'. Even you would have been proud of the cleanliness.

Has anyone got/had a 2010+ Speed Triple and have an opinion?

I sold my Tiger because I though it was bland, it kind of put me off Triumphs completely.

That was my first thought when I saw the Facebook one. A K. Probably the worst handling GSXR ever. I wouldn't rule the Facebook one out though, it will corner, you just have to show it who's boss. And none of them will handle like a modern bike.

I've decide to buy a £1500 Firestorm and blow the rest on drugs and hookers.

Maybe.
