But 175 GBP ( it was 140 GBP last year) may be the deal breaker ...
Every session will be stopped to pick up the parts that fall off the poorly assembled café racers :D

It's an old airfield and this is the first time it'll be used for a trackday. They are hoping it will be the first of many and will eventually lead to bigger and better things for the circuit.

My initial thoughts are that it'll be a bit shit with a track outlined with used tyres, very few facilities and probably not a great surface. HOWEVER I also think it's important for 'us locals' to stump up and pay the money, because if we don't, it will end up being a one off event !
Have you got a link to the bike day?

Funny you should say that ...
TBH, it was having to remove leather elbow patches from the track that was the issue - and the skinny soy latte from the start line ...

:D

There'll be a few more to come this year too. It's an expensive circuit to book but it helps that it's almost in my back garden, anywhere else is going to cost me at least a full tank of fuel in the car to get to.

It's also the best circuit in the UK 8-)

It'd be Oulton, Anglesey (coastal), Cadwell for me.

But that's ok, you're allowed to be wrong :D

I've left you a list of jobs that need doing on the side in the kitchen, and don't forget to put the bins out....

Silverstone 3 weeks tomorrow, got the van hire sorted and the zx6r will be checked over and likely given a quite spin next weekend as Mrs Weeksy is away so i'll have lots of garage time free. VERY much looking forward to it.
