Other than the Honda 650's, what 4 cylinder bikes with <750cc capacity are left these days?
Not many, it seems to me. Slim pickings even if you raise that bar to <950cc.

Hmm. I spent years asking "where are all the twins - all you can get are four cylinder bikes these days"

As soon as a manufacturer does this preview teasing bollox I’m out. If they’d just release it normally I’d take an interest but now I won’t rush to see or buy one

Looks like MT07 frame still but the forks look like R6 with proper brakes

I very much like the look of that. I doubt Mrs Mango would, though...

The rider looks like he's squeezing one out....

I was reading a write up yesterday, apparently it's got 'better' pistons and a different bore coating to the MT/XSR... but doesn't make anymore power, just to improve reliability.
I didn't know there was any reliability problems with the twin?

Dunno much about the twin myself mate, but would surprise me....KungFooBob wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 8:57 am I was reading a write up yesterday, apparently it's got 'better' pistons and a different bore costing to the MT/XSR... but doesn't make anymore power, just to improve reliability.

Main issue for me is lack of decent QS/Blipper and traction. Why make a supersport and then scrimp on the electronics.

The same article said there was an optional QS.
I think they've tried to build it quite cheap. It's a fair chunk cheaper than the RS660 (at least in the US).

It exists and is currently being test ridden in the US at Road Atlanta by someone I vaguely know through Facebook, she hasn't said much apart from saying she's testing it.

Optional ain't quite the same as 'super full electronics'

100% that... if it had the 09 motor and electronics, we'd have placed an order already.
