One thing I always wanted but never bought was a Simpson Bandit

partly because I needed lids with an ACU gold sticker for racing, but mainly because they were famously crap.
I see they still make them. Anyone bought a recent one?
I had a good look at one in Motorcycle Megastore recently. Wasn't impressed with the quality. still no Gold Sticker either.

Borrowed a mates one about 30 years ago, they're a car racing helmet, they're noisy and the hole you look out of is too small.

Nice jacket other than the Oxford badge slapped on the arm...

It was after his review of it that I took a look at the Oxford Mondial. Still not worn the bloody thing yet and I got it at Xmas! I did consider the Hardy as I watched that review too, but decided to spend the extra for the features in the Mondial.
I'm guessing you've bought it already, else I'd have said check out the Merlin wax jackets as well as they do some nice ones.

Yes, bought on SBS earlier today.

Wasn't happy with it, mostly around the neck/collar, so it's being returned and refunded...
I've given up with jackets now, i'm done.

I was looking at that Oxford jacket. Apparently the badge is velcroed on?
I also looked at the Belstaff one it's based on. Silly money but I'd have one.

Dunno mate, it's packed up and ready to go. In all honesty it was a lovely jacket, but don't know whether it's because it's a bit stiff and a bit new, but it felt just that, a bit stiff. Around the neck i'm a fussy fussy person and it just didn't quite sit correctly on the neck for me. So it's being collected tomorrow.
If it fits you and suits you, it's a lovely jacket.

Just not sure I'm ready for wax jackets again
I wore belstaffs back in the day because veggie. By eck did they hang on to the smell of two stroke fumes (used to douse it in patchouli to mask the smell, making it far worse).

"B.O., Belstaff Odour"
That peculiar wax smell, plus the endearing dirty oily smears if you brushed against anything.

If you like wax jackets then IMO the Belstaff ones are about the best.
I tried the Merlin ones and the Belstaff ones in the same shop and ended up with two Belstaff Ariel jackets, a blue one and a green one - they were more than twice the price of the others and to be honest they're not twice as good, but you get what you pay for I suppose and the tailoring on the Belstaffs just made that little bit of difference that made them perfect for me.
TBH mate, i've thrown the towel in on jackets until the world opens up and i can actually go try some on. It's costing me a tenner each time i try a jacket as SBS do free returns but only if you take a DPD drop off, which is my local (7 miles away) Sainsburys, which i'm not prepared to do at the moment, so i pay DHL to collect from my driveway costing me a tenner.
It wasn't the wax jacket aspect of that one i liked but the overall styling... But i am finding that i'm very very fussy with jackets, so i can see the current KTM jacket being the one that gets used. (without the hood fitted)

No idea on them, but I have the TCX equivalent. I really like them, nice and comfy, look like non bike related so fine for work etc and they have a bit of protection. I got the Gore-tex ones and they are a bit hot in warm weather. I think if I got them again I'd go non waterproof.
