Only borders recently. Swansea born and bred but then moved “abroad” to England for 30 years before coming back when Mr WD retired.
A Jack.

Local binmen are posting about the amount of rotting food being thrown out (nearly all still wrapped) by households.

Disgusting. But to be expected as the stuff I saw people buying could not have been consumed by the sell by dates.

Had to panic buy myself a new Wahl today. Moved here in December, buggered if I can find my old one anywhere so as I now seriously need a haircut, Argos it is!!
No cordless available due to every other long haired git grabbing them, so bought a corded one for now.

I panic bought two rolls of toilet paper and two egg boxes! And quorn. There was little in the house for me to eat, only food for the carnivores....

It's a mechanical device for raising things. But that's not important right now.

I suppose that means when I (and others of course) feel the need to go shopping next week, the stockpilers will have been out again and panic bought whatever was on the shelves. I wounder how long it's possible to live on bread and jam and rhubarb. :(

Oh yes I have rhubarb. It grows in my garden with the same enthusiasm as weeds.
