232kgs wet, normal for a naked bike tbh.
Not for me it isn't, my MX race bikes were 100kg, if you add another 130kg then call it a flat tracker I'm not going to be interested.
It's a flat tracker inspired road bike, you wouldn't buy a KTM1290 adventure and complain it wasn't a 300SX would you ?

I don't mind the looks of the Indian, but the weight is a deal breaker for me.

In terms of riding pleasure, manhandling a behemoth has lost it's allure,a degree of lightness is required.

My Z is listed as 221kgs wet,but I've whittled that down to 207kgs. A new ZX10R comes in at 209kgs.

My goal is to be under 200...eventually.

But you always want something that doesn't exist :)

it's not a 45kg motor... it's impossible it's ever going to be a 1200cc beast with a 45kg motor.
Oh I dunno :D

I would if I bought something pretending to be a 300sx but it turned out to be a 1290 Adventure in new clothes.

If I went onto Tinder and posted a picture of Brad Pitt in Snatch, then rocked up looking like me I don't think I'd get away with saying I'm Brad Pitt inspired

The FTR is one of my list of bikes I’d like to own. But, I did that once with my CB1300, which I hated and sold within 6 months.

But I do like the FTR

Love 'em! No use for one and no cash for one, but if that changed, in a heartbeat! 8-)
