Couldn't give a fuck about NYE. I'll be staying home, the same as I would like think that most sensible people are planning. Less mingling with other households, less drunk people in close proximity to each other and less strain on the NHS and other emergency services during this time of crisis is the best thing we can all do.

It turns out one of The Bald Beast's places has five empty houses on one site, in Cambridge. He owns them all.

We can all have a big party round a fire in the garden and then sleep in separate buildings thus not breaking the law (I think!).

We don't usually do much on NYE, but this year I'm going to make sure I stay up past midnight. Not to welcome the new year in but to make bloody sure that 2020 has gone.
