The Spanner is only there for scale. Just thought I’d mention that.
That's not much to go on. It could be from any number of large (obviously) diesel engines.
Blundering about trying not to make too much of a hash of things.

That’s all I have. It was in my neighbors garden for 40 years. He found it partially buried at a disused Mill/workshop. It weighs a couple of Stone.
I assume it has a low rev limit.

It looks more like a concrete rubbish bin than a piston.

It is a Kawasaki W1 motor and gearbox but the carbs aren't what it left the factory with - W1's had a single non CV carb, the ones in the pic are 1970s Keihins, from , I'd guess a 250/350 series Honda :geek:

I too have not a fecking clue what that big rusty thing you posted a pic of is from though :D
