Yep, he's now working, living at home, paying minimal rent (thanks to the wife!!) so why not? He's actually the reason I ended up buying my 5 series as he was the one looking for a new car. I had mine delivered before covid lockdown, he had to wait for his....he wasn't happyMr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 11:12 amLoads of the younguns at work have 135s, A35s, i30Ns, Focus STs etc. With PCP you can get a well flash motah, it seems to par for the course now when you get your first "real" job.

£750 fully comp, which to be fair, isn't that bad. My beemer is £300 and I'm old and been driving forever! The Martian wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 12:06 pmI bet his insurance is ridiculous though?Nordboy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 11:56 amYep, he's now working, living at home, paying minimal rent (thanks to the wife!!) so why not? He's also (thanks to paying cock all rent) saving a load each month for a deposit on a house. Has a few investments and will be taking over the company he works for in about 18 months. The Martian wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 12:02 pmGet your debts built up early to drive you to greater success / mental illness and poverty.. gamble you have to take these days if you want to look the part (which is the most important thing obvs :| )Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 11:12 amLoads of the younguns at work have 135s, A35s, i30Ns, Focus STs etc. With PCP you can get a well flash motah, it seems to par for the course now when you get your first "real" job.

Just the other day I was getting nostalgic for a gap toothed early R6. I have a late 90s CBR600 at the mo and I'm actually quite enjoying being on an old revvy jap sportsbike. Bring on the 600s shoot out!

German Parallel Import, paid £6k on the nose. Owned it three years, put 27,000 miles on it before trading it in for a 3 year old Blade.
It was burning a litre of oil every 100 miles and was on it's 2nd gearbox and clutch. I'd buy it back tomorrow.

I tested the R6 back to back with a GSXR600 (SRAD) at the stealership. The difference was night and day. The R6 felt like it had double the power!Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 8:29 pm That's the one!
