The bloke in the shop said we do a thousand as well.
I said my balls aren't big enough for a thou and I know people say the throttle goes both ways but IMO whats the point in big fat balls if you ain't gonna swing em round the place.

Just once you should ride a proper litre monster and ride the huge wave of torque. Effortless forward motion. Every gear change is a kick up the arse.Supermofo wrote: Thu Oct 08, 2020 6:19 pmThe bloke in the shop said we do a thousand as well.

Re: GSX-S750
Errr. Do what. Up to 2004 I rode several Blades, 2 R1s, a TL, 2 ZX9s, a SP1, a K1 and a K4 Gixxer thou and probably some others I've forgotten as well as loads of 600s and 750s. OK nothing modern but the K4 was far from slow. I love big bike fast but don't want that responsibility anymore. I find you get immune to speed fairly quickly. It's a rush for sure but it soon becomes normal and that's when its so easy to be doing silly speeds without being bothered or noticing.Yorick wrote: Thu Oct 08, 2020 6:27 pmJust once you should ride a proper litre monster and ride the huge wave of torque. No police. I'd happily tear up the A road at a ton 50 plus. Till then I tend to force limits on myself which is not a bad thing with 2 young kids but does mean I don't see much of a point in me getting a proper quick bike.
