Widely acknowledged as one of Hondas best all-rounders! But, tbh, they can be a bit boring if you're looking for a sporty-ish ride. They're very low revving and just when you think the party is going to start, they change up! :wtf:  As a commuter, they are effin superb and ridiculously economical to boot!

My wife just asked to see a picture of it and then declared it to be the same as my other one! Then she added at least its red and you won't need another new crash helmet! :? :D

She's wrong, you always need another new crash helmet!! :)

I'm not too fussed with boring, it's more about being able to ride it! Low CoG is a big thing for me too.

I'll see if I can get a test ride at some point :) :) (but I'd guess it'll be a similar type to the MT07, so I kinda need to try others as well!!)

I've not ridden one but from all the tests I've read the NC750 is unlikely to be anything like an MT07. But luckily Taipan's owned both so would know

TBF, the other day I was looking at a couple 1997 TLs and a CBR600  I have zero idea what I can ride so just need to wait for a bit less cold/ice and go test some

Was admiring this Sunday on Ebay. Looks very clean/low mileage.

Yup. If I was in the UK, I could be tempted, right year and can be painted the right colour!!

But there's zero point getting a uk bike - I already have one here that I can't register, so not worth getting another :( :(

The two TLs I found on the Boncoin the other day are two different 'othersides' of the country   Have to try and find one closer so I can test ride !!!

As I told the wife, this one will definitely last for a few years. Of course, that doesn't mean it can't have a few stablemates along the way... :? :D

Same as my one from (oh my gosh) almost 20 years ago. Except that mine looked somewhat bedraggled even then.

Bugger, that's just like my old TL. And it's only down the road in Doncaster...

I bought my FZR400RR and R6 from Premier Bikes in Doncaster, tho' that was back when they had the big showroom/cafe and were Kawasaki/Bimota franchised dealers.

Rob once gave me a lift back to the town centre on the back of a TLS when I dropped the FZR off for a service.

The financial crisis killed them. The showroom is a housing estate now. The 'shop' runs from someone's back yard now.

Loud pipes save lives!

TBH they aren't that loud, even with the db killer out, as they still have a cat fitted. But when I'm riding in the heart of London, people often step into the road in front of you, and don't even get me started on cyclists! So, if a bikes not whisper quiet, you have a bit of a chance of someone hearing you! It is a downside to a DCT as you have no clutch to grab and bounce the revs of the limiter!

Just remembered, the bike is a brand spanker and has a warranty, etc. So I'm not even sure I can put one on? I certainly wont be in a hurry to fit an end can but will check with the Sales guy when I collect the bike.
