TBH i'd never use a company that would offer that, it's a piss take. Even taking into account they need to make money, it's an insulting offer to anyone with a bike that actually starts.

Seen a few very clean examples for less money, one with hard luggage. I would probably not be using bike shops unless they chuck in a years warranty or more. Got a couple of jobs to do on my Fazer yet but no great hurry at this time of year.weeksy wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 10:51 amTBH i'd never use a company that would offer that, it's a piss take. I paid a dealer £1650 for a 01 Fazer 600 last year.Felix wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 11:09 amSeen a few very clean examples for less money, one with hard luggage. That's as good a way as any of telling you they don't want it. I'd throw it in a hedge first before I took £350.Felix wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 10:09 am Eventually JRS Motorcycle's got back to me. They only offered £350 for a trade on my 600 Fazer so i shall wait till spring and sell it private.
Interesting. I enquire about the bike and the advert disappears. Is this a few adverts to entice you in and say sorry sold but how about this more expensive one? The bike is still on there web site https://www.jrsmotorcycles.co.uk/bikes- ... 1000-fazerSkub wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 4:16 pmThat's as good a way as any of telling you they don't want it. Nice budget Tourer for little money. When my mate was a bike mechanic in Germany, i was interesting in a nice Divvy but they were out my price range then for a good one. He was saying he is often getting them in for a service with 60+K on the clock. He was talking miles. Them 8 valve engines are hardly stressed and keeping up with the service is apparently key...... wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 7:22 pmIbhava a wing rck annd top box mount and 3vgivi casesKungFooBob wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 11:48 am What you want is a nice 900 Divvy with a full set of period Krauser luggage, or something.
Yes i know. I presumed you were talking to KFB about the Divvy.
I seen it thanks. I am going for the later model 06 on but also waiting till spring so i can sell my baby Fazer and have a larger budgetBustaspoke wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 11:24 am If you do FB,a FZR1000 Fazer's just turned up,it's i Nuneaton.Search FB marketplace. The advert seems genuine, might be worth a look?
Couple of scuffs where soft luggage sat and the heel plates but apart from that i am well chuffed 32k on the clock and service stamp up to 28k. As i phoned to say i was buying it and driving down now then never had time for an MOT so still got that to do. The can is a Delkevic and its not staying. That the Black Widow on the 600 was loud. My MOT man will have a heart attack.KungFooBob wrote: Wed May 13, 2026 10:22 pm I imagine that pipe is a bit loud?
Looks in pretty good nick.
I almost dropped it rolling it off the van. Crazy how heavy it felt yet its only 16kg more than the 600Nordboy wrote: Thu May 14, 2026 2:59 pm They are a cracking bike, congrats. Even though they're now 20+ yrs old, they can still very much hold their own. I had mine for years, I think it may be the bike I owned the longest.
