Maybe this isn't the right place for this kind of stuff!
Might have got a wider audience in the mechanics section, or just tagged onto your bikes thread? But interesting stuff anyway.

Thanks for feedback, I'll post this kind of stuff in the Mechanics section in future, not sure how to tag onto my bike!. Cheers

How did you determine your advance curve? Do you use tps? You map to mbt or just copy the old ecu?

Ultimately running the bike on a dyno will determine the best setting!. At the moment I have the standard map from the Otom NC450 CDI and can switch to the base Nibbi racing map which I intend to experiment with. I am using an Nibbi FCR39 carburettor that has a TPS but the Ignitech dccdip doesn't have an input to use it. I might purchase this Ignitech race CDI which does.

Thanks for reminding me, I expect to keep advancing the ignition timing until torque stops increasing then back it off slightly

Need better weather before I start modifying map B but that's when the fun will start.

The engine in the Cabby is a Zongshen NC450S which is also fitted to to the Kove 450 Rally. A stepped woodruff key is available for the Kove which advances the timing by 4 degrees and apparently gives good power gain but poor starting.
https://www.kovepower.com/store/p312/Jo ... key.html#/
As a starting point I'll probably advance the timing by 4 degrees from about 2000rpm up to the 12000rpm limiter. Hopefully not modifying the lower rpm will mean no starting issues but I will need to keep an eye on the overall engine temp,
Red is current B Map, Blue is proposed B Map.

Just added an extension to the CDI port so that I don't have to remove the seat each time that I need to access it. This is what I did.
