Shelf life might be an issue.

They probably don't get 24 hours notice for call-outs ;)

I had never thought of that approach
We could use Deliveroo

Buy a dehydrator and make your own stuff. When you're ready to eat put it in a tuppaware box, add hot water and it's ready to go a few minutes later. Hot meals when you need one. Dehydrate fruit for snacks.

Any suggestions?

I did that with some 'good gut' cereal toppers/sprinkles. Looked at the ingredients by % (also took a given weight and divided it up into constituent parts and weighed - completely ott as I'm sure I wouldn't notice if the ingredients varied a fair bit :D ).

Then went out and bought the ingredients (chia seeds, linseed, hemp seed, dried berries, dried bananas etc etc). Result? Fraction of the cost and it tastes better. Nice on porage.

Could add that to an energy bar mix too.

Hold on ... Missing a trick here!

The RNLI has 160+ all weather lifeboats.

So, realistically, they're going to get through tons of these nutritious own-brand meusli bars.

So, tie-in with a company, sell 'RNLI approved ', get stock for the boats cheap, no faff cooking them. And sell them alongside postcards and tea towels.

I'm not employed by them - I volunteer. I want to sort out a local need. The paid people can do that
