My mate successfully competed on a Supermono some years ago. He purchased one that had a twin disc ATE set up. After his very first ride on it, one disc and caliper was removed, as he thought it massively overbraked, and would never get used to it.
In 1985 I was racing LC250 and LC350

Much preferred the twin discs on 350.

Yeah but OE Elsie brakes were crap.

I remember the RGV basically having the same brakes as a GSXR1100, it was like hitting a brick wall if you gave it s handful.

Similar with the KR1S and ZXR750 I seem to recall.
