I've seen Nile a few times. Guitar royalty. 8-)

1am Glasto Update (Dark Mode):

Woke up in a tent that wasn’t mine, surrounded by three strangers and what I can only describe as the ghost of a past decision. One of ‘em offered me a line of something off a wet AA battery. Took it. Not proud, but I can smell colours now.

Someone passed me a balloon the size of a bowling ball and said “Take this, it’s what Tesco security guards use to transcend.” Didn’t question it. Don’t think I’ve blinked since.

Lost the last of my mates hours ago—one tried to snort pre-workout and disappeared screaming “I am Wetherspoons!” into the fog. Another was last seen licking the mud and saying “It tastes like techno.” Let him go. Nature’s got him now.

Found myself in a tent called The Wormhole which turned out to be just a gazebo filled with lads on K slumped like haunted mannequins. It smelled like Lynx Africa and unwashed dreams. Someone in the corner whispered, “This is the Tesco Meal Deal dimension.” I nodded. I understood.

Was handed “homemade acid” from a bloke who looked like if anxiety was a person. Tasted like a battery and regret. Ended up thinking the DJ was my ex and the bass was a tax investigation. Still danced.

Cone of Power’s gone now. Replaced by a bloke in a morph suit screaming into a vape. He called himself “The Oracle of Pure MD” and demanded a sacrifice of four Quavers and a juul pod. Someone complied. It got weird after that.

Everything smells like ket and regret. Everyone looks like a meme I saw in 2012. Some girl just crawled past me whispering, “Do you have any backi or self-esteem?” I had neither. We bonded.

Security stopped me earlier—asked if I was alright. Told them I was “on a personal journey through the underworld with a side quest for backi.” They nodded like they’d heard worse. Probably had.

Currently crouched behind a speaker stack, eating a rave pancake (that’s just a Dairylea slice someone warmed on a glow stick) and waiting for the acid to give me tax advice.

Vibes are unhinged. Morality is fluid. I’m 60% substance, 40% bad choices. Pray for Dave. He’s still in The Wormhole...

My wife is watching it, it looks truly awful, but if other people like that sort of thing then I'm happy they're having a good time and nowhere near me.
The acts I've seen so far (when I wander into the front room to bore her about something) have been very samey and musically bland, they need the Anti Nowhere League to shake them up a bit, the warnings about bad language might be worthwhile then.

Just an observation... but has the mental health crisis post covid turned many folk gay. Glasto seems full of it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Enjoying tonight, thought the Ezra collective were good and now Raye, excellent. Definitely a bit Amy Winehouse but very good. Think I'm liking the jazzy thing. 👍

You'll need some Jazz Mags so you can talk authoritatively about jazzing
