Armstrong pads managed to re-invent wet weather lag, decades after Kawasaki's sintered pads had solved that problem. Absolutely awful, they were.

Car swerved from the right hand lane in front of me, brakes didn't work, swerved left myself, thought I was going to hit the pavement, and by the sheerest luck managed to find a dropped kerb. I finally got the bike stopped outside the window of the local motorcycle dealer.

I've been thinking of changing the pads on the GSXS. They work fine, but lack bite. At 8k miles they still have loads of wear left so I assume they are a fairly hard wearing pad which is the issue. Thinking of Brembo road pads, tried the track pads Weeksy has on his XSR and they were too much. After this definitely not Goldfren's
