Escooters though, you can hire one from the local council and then they are perfectly safe.....use your own personal one and they suddenly become a danger
The only difference the council ones have public liability included, the message is confusing they're either dangerous or not. TBH I'd have one for local running about but the risk of points and a fine means I'll jump in the car instead and sod the environment.....
