I'd quite like a GSXR1100, it's probably the only GSXR I'd ever consider buying.

But the 1100 is bucket loads cooler, has proper kudos and random blokes down the pub won't question my sexuallity like they would if I rode a 1000.

I've ridden a few GSXR1100s, the early ones are nice for 1987 (but an FZR1000 is better), the frame is a bit flexy and the brakes aren't upto the performance, but they handle reasonably normally in a throw it at the corner kind of way, the Slingshots are all awful, the engine is epic, it feels as powerful as an early R1 with power everywhere, no power band, just smooth power everywhere, but the frame that's wrapped round it really is not good, they didn't feel flexy to me, but the weight is too high, the steering head too steep, and on the L/M/N the swingarm is too long, they don't want to turn initially and then they flop into the corner, anyone who can ride one of these fast is brave, stupid or an epic rider, on a road with bends a similar age GSXR400 is a lot faster. The killer "K" is the best of the Slingshots, but it's still an animal that requires massive balls to ride fast.

I'd still have one if one came along at the right price - I don't know why.

Not ridden a WP, they're supposed to handle a lot better, that's a lot of bike for not much money, but not as manly as an oil boiler.

Got a 750 K, I feel manly and a bad rider both at the same time.

Those were well on the way to the demise of the 11s, stupid 40mm carbs that cut a load of the midrange and they were pretty much the weight of a ZZR.

I still have an H albeit very modded, but if I had to do it all again, I'd have a G/H/J with the front end and motor from an L and on 17' wheels.

The WPs are huge ungainly beasts that are just sports tourers without the comfort.

Bear in mind that a standard 750 SRAD is a much faster bike on anything apart from a dead straight road.

With the amount of people knocking about on those silly electric scooters, I'm thinking the C5 was about 30 years ahead of its time.
