Brand new, Italian bikes (with Chinese copy Honda engines) for less than £2k, what's not to like!

This turned up on my Farcebook feed,apparently it's made by Killinger & Freund,3 cylinders mounted in the front wheel.

Creates some interesting questions like fuel and spark supplies to a rotating engine on a steerable component. Also, why the front wheel? Closely followed by just why?

Probably magnetos or something like that powered by the rotation of the wheel - kinda makes it hard to start though! I imagine it's just got tiny fuel tanks.

I saw something similar on TV a while back but for push bikes. You could retrofit them to the bottom bracket and you had to be pedalling before you could start it. Apparently there were reasonably popular.

How many miles is too many?

TBF it doesn't look bad for 85k miles, but you'd have to really want an FJR and be really poor, surely?

I guess it begs the question, whats the highest mile bike you'd buy?

Does it depend on make and/or general condition?

Is a nice looking 40k Honda better than a 20k Ducati?

My (Druid's) old VFR had >75k on it when it left my possession and it still fired on the button.

The Bonnie has been around the clock, but it also doesn't fucking work....

I lie, I was thinking I'd never go second hand again, but if I had a few quid in my back pocket and the right MT01 came up I'd be all over it regardless of mileage, but it'd have to be bob on.

Lovely pipework,it's almost a shame to cover it up.

It's a nice bike, but I don't like the pipes, far too many welds.

Most TZs etc ran open carbs. Some fitted a piece of ladies stockings over to keep dirt out.
