Been on low dose high blood pressure tablets for about a month. Have kept a nerdy Excel spreadsheet of the 3 readings per day and it enabled me to do accurate averages.

Down from overall 142/88 to 128/83. I'm a happy bunny.

You know how it is, stood in front of the bathroom mirror, lots of tugging, panting and heavy breathing...then, after a good ten minutes, the joy!

That rogue grey eyebrow you've been trying to pull out finally yields!

You might not have needed medicating if you were averaging only just over the 140. Being from oop norf you probably have tons of salt on yer grub.  Excluding that would have brought you into the acceptable range!

It was all over the place, up to 168. My doc raised the alarm and the heart specialist agreed.

Well today I had to drill through a 10" oak lintel to feed a power cable to a light. Thing is, I don't possess a 10" wood bit, which means having to go from both sides, bit like the channel tunnel!
Fitting side got a 10mm hole, as deep as I could go, then by careful use of eye and pencil, I marked what was hopefully the track of the hole. Inside the garage got a 25mm hole, in the hope that if I was off by up to 1/2" then I should get some daylight to feed the cable through.
Not only did we get daylight, but I hit it Bob on, with the feed hole right in the centre of the rear bore hole. It's the little things :banana-wrench:

Today is a sad day as a skip has been delivered to start clearing the loft-of-plenty! Whilst many goodies may be found, the sense of intrigue of going through the hatch will be lost...

Mrs Gremlin makes JO's chocolate porridge in huge batches. It's lovely and feels like it should be really unhealthy but it ain't.

Munching my way through a bowl now.

I know it's a damning reflection of the inner workings of my mind, but I can't read that without imagining some sort of deviant pornography.
See it in the bowl and it does look like a scene from an 80's German scat porn video nasty....

I bow to your superior knowledge of 80's German scat porn videos. I think I may have missed them.

They're probably still available, it's not like TV used to be where if you missed it it's gone.

I remember watching one many years ago. It was bizarre and slightly nauseating to say the least. Much as a lot of it is lost in the passing of time, I recall and old fella being shat on by a rather large lady, but at the time I remember thinking, 'Why is he wearing a civil-war era Confederate army hat...?'

I think it was the same one that had a woman having her head shaved by two bollock-naked bloke who then, to use a Daily Mail expression, 'pleasured themselves' upon her freshly bald scalp.

All very odd.

I'm into anything that tickles your fancy but shitting on people is way out of my scope of interest.
I'd like to say it was serious scientific research. It wasn't, it was idle curiosity. The odd thing is, we kept watching as it almost became a case of 'How much more bizarre can it get? OH...that much more!! :o . And like a car crash, we just couldn't pull our eyes away.

That said, I never got a stiffy, so I reckon I'm the right side of deviancy.
