Doesn't look terrible, but bidding is surprisingly high.

They are getting better with the styling over time - that works well
The Lamborghini one was a shocker!
We early adopters bought the ugly version

That's an NTV wheel, so I'm guessing it's an NTV swingarm/shaft... which is interesting as the NTV has the shaft on the other side, so it must be fitted upside down?

Err...what's that thing underneath that looks like a silencer? Can't be the shaft can it? The line is all wrong. Probably something obvious but not to me

Shock absorber?

The shaft runs down the centre of the single sided swinging arm.
The CX originally had a traditional double arm with the shaft down the riders right hand side of the bike.
On the NTV the shaft ran down the riders left hand side of the bike, so if it is an NTV arm, it's been flipped.

That would seem likely...there doesn't appear to be anywhere else, never seen one like it before though, maybe it's been popped inside a stainless tube.
Just been looking at some pix of the standard one (had one way back when) the seat is positively palatial!

That was my guess - must be in tension, as in the Buells.

I really like that. Even though the combination of rear lights and exhaust looks a bit surprised in the first pic
The one thing I hate though is the 'bit of pipe' rear brake fluid reservoir. Might be OK for racing, but it just looks too dodgy for a road bike to me.

Honda EXP-2. 400cc 2 stroke single from 1995 was an attempt to address emission laws with electronically controlled pre-ignition. Raced at Baja and Dakar, I never even knew about this bike until this morning.
