The film 'Kes' is 55 years old. I remember watching it as part of my O Level English (I think I recall...very hazy now). Not a bad film, but a bit bleak:

It's not exactly news, but I read this today. So it's news to me and it's today.
The Bronx is the size of Paris, has 42 McDonalds.....and one bookshop.
Hmmm, maybe we need a 'little known facts' thread.

LOL, there's only 6 in the whole county I live in, although we only number 603,000 souls.

In the USA it is twice a week

It is proper bizzare! Not seen anything named a quarter pounder, but then I don't eat their burgers so wouldn't look!!
