There are worse ways to spend a stormy Sunday morning I suppose;

Titanium, I would say they're to add lightness

but they were available whist the wheels are off when OEM bolts weren't.

They really are slick in the middle aren't they! I suspect you'd have to roundabout surf for a long time to ever have a chance of hitting those wear markers

I imagine they'll be well squared off before troubling the wear markers

How long did the front discs last?
I thought you'd only bought it new three or four years ago. Or did you just fancy some wavy ones?

It's a 2018 bike.
There's load of life (thickness) left in them but I've been getting a weird pulsing / jerkyness at low speeds that I haven't been able to get rid of, tried stripping the calipers and cleaning them, tried freeing off the disc bobbins, so will give these a go.
And yeah I kinda fancied some wavy ones too

All back together, I'm not convinced with the rear wheel alignment so will see if I can drop into a dealership next weekend to get a second pair of eyes on it.
Lessons learned;
1, next bike will have a SSSA, or a dealer can do it next time
2, if you think copperslip gets everywhere you should try using silver anti seize

Init weird how you get used to something being sub optimal, my old tyres were properly squared off and on the wear limit but felt fine, but these new tyres just let me flick it over soooooo easily and just feel bob on.
New brakes are bloody good too

New tyres = new bike (well nearly!

I can definitely tell the profile on my Road 5's is wonky now. Tipping feels very hit and miss. Done just under 4k on them so far. Will see what they look like when I get back from Cornwall. Depending on how wet it is will depend on what part of the tyre gets used most so they might be toast on my return in 600 or so miles time.

Another MOT in the bag, and yup it's been a bobbins summer, only 1200 miles since the last time it got done.

You soon learn to give that side a wide bearth
Well, it took 6 years, but I've finally managed to walk into it and snap the bugger in half.
Many liberties taken on the ride back home with only half a plate left
