Halfway through series 2 and beginning to lose interest. It appears that you can kill and main at will in Dublin and not get caught

I said to the missus that it felt like the whole series was mainly just veiled threats and minimal repercussions.

* I struggle with sub-titles: I always find myself watching the text and missing the action, so prefer dubs, although bad-dubs aren't any better I'll admit).

I've watched a couple of films in French at the flicks over here, but with subtitles - Even back then (maybe 3 years ago) when my language skills weren't that good I got annoyed cos there were times I was looking at the subtitles but knowing they weren't saying what the speech actually said!

That along with the fact I can't read very well in either language means I avoid subtitles (and karaoke!) in either language!

Started watching "Industry" on iPlayer, hoping to be educated into Gremlin's world. All they see to do is stitch each other up, shag each other and drink loads. It's like the financial crash never happened. All that is missing is the Filofaxes and the red porsche 944s.

Hated everything single character - and after the 4th episode I just wanted them all to die.

I am sure it is not really like that, Mr G?

My wife watched that and it just annoyed me, it's as if it's set in the present but with the worst people from 40 years ago.

Watched Mad Max last night (again)
After all these years something struck me as a 'ooooh that's so wrong' moment
Goose leaves the stripper in the morning, gets on the bike, fires it up, it ticks over quietly, and then wheelspins it down the road!
Anybody who has owned a carbed kwak knows that when you fire it up from cold, it screams to 4k rpm on the choke and won't run below that for at least 30s.
