I remember enjoying the book a right few years ago. Haven't seen the flick.

Heard him for the first time when i was working in Bradford in the mid 80's He had a midweek rock radio show. Probably the same time i discovered Tommy Vance who had the Friday rock show when Radio 1 was good.

Damn - that's one of my favourite songs !! and it seems a couple of others !

I'm a totally useless 'fan' or music lover - I know what I like but rarely have the ability to remember who/which band actually sang what I like am gutted I didn't know his name before today, despite loving a lot of the songs (and definitely the genre !! ), but he is now on my Spotify ready for the next car drive !!

Rockpile were a great band and 'Repeat when necessary' a great album. Albert Lee's star turn on 'Sweet little Lisa' is sublime. I alway liked Billy Bremner's and Dave Edmunds guitar work. Sad to hear this news.
