The storm here, yesterday afternoon, was incredible. Never seen or heard anything like it.

Sitting drinking çay in the tea garden in Marmaris waiting for M. She's having her hair done (look at her roots!) and I've done a bit of shopping.
When she gets here it'll be lunch then the bus home.

Mostly run by ex cops who think they know damn everything when they actually know damn all!!
I’m swinging gently in the sun in/on my hammock!

Admiring the fact that I've sorted even more stuff. Some stuff that is basically useless (why do I keep this stuff!) in the recycle bag but quite a lot of things in the box for my friend that sells random stuff to fundraise for her son's skiing (GB ski doesn't have a financial programme for their Alpine Skiers

) - today has included two sets of bicycle lights and some googles/glasses.

I'm supposed to be going to work, but I'm sat here looking at torrential rain with thunder and lightening and thinking fook riding in that. Time for another cuppa methinks...

Yeah we've had some thunder too, been raining in the early hours. I'm home this week, so doing some painting and moving things around to get access to walls!

Just taken the wife to work in the car. Bit of rain makes people lose all their common sense. Give yourself a bit more space, double your braking distance, be patient and just take it easy. Some wannabe Max Verstappens out there. Home after deciding to take a different route and it paid off with a quieter drive and far less maniacs on the school run. About to have a pee and then head out to my first interview in 14 years... no pressure as it is up to them to decide if I am the right priest for those churches. At least I know what I can offer and am happy to give that. If I do go there, then I will need to join the local Triumph Motorcycle Club and be their honorary Vicar Biker.... Have a good day all, rain is easing off and lightning has passed on (Kent area that is).
