You should have used the iron. Crank it up and press it firmly onto the salmon skin, sort of like they do in some Japanese restaurants . You'll need a metal plate to put on the ironing board of course. Do that, you'll be back in the good books no worries.

PS How were the crisps?
Horrible actually. They sort of blew around in the airfryer and were just soggy on some bits and burnt on others. I'll stick to the grill from now on!

Sitting on a sofa like a total zombie after 5hrs kip, last nights commissioning went pear shaped due to the contractors software and project people not realising that the issues we had a month ago at one site with a certain configuration would probably occur at another site with the same configuration. So after getting all the ducks in a row, having to liaise with two railway control rooms and two UKPN control rooms to coordinate our HV switching it was all for naught and the guys onsite had to revert/roll back all the wiring to how it was originally configured and we try again another night once the software people pull their finger out of their arse.

On a + we didn't black out Sarf London so that's a win.

Sitting in the sun on the hotel terrace, sipping a pint of Doombar. The sun is shining, the birds are tweeting and all is well with the world.

Having a mug of tea after emptying the van of treasures from the tip. A mostly working 250mm table saw, the NVR on off switch doesn't latch, is the main attraction.

Just killin' time, I don't have enough time to take it apart today, and at £170 a pair I can assure you I'm already swearing inside at least.
But that's worst case as I doubt the LED's will have released the magic smoke, probs just a wire not able to cope and busted

Icing my knee!! There are lots of good things about having visitors, but one benefit is that I do tend to tidy and clean up more than usual!! So I have. And my knee aches!!

I've put some washing on the line. Would it be rude to have a beer at this time of the day?

All I have left to do is get the BBQ ready.
