How, exactly, did you manage that? I've only removed a foot peg once in my lifetime and it took a VW Golf Mk4 to do it.

Buggeration.

This is why you should keep many Rocksters for spares.

Dog walk, lovely spring weather.

Given the lawn and garden bushes a crew cut.

Stacked frozen dog food in the freezer.

Now doing housework.

EMTB with mates later and pub stop for dinner.

Probably weakened by the suns reflection off a ridiculously shiny cat...

Deep gravel. Which I only discovered yesterday seems to be on top of hardstanding, not compacted soil

TBH, I'm still not sure why the peg snapped like that, it "should" have folded up, I've "let fall" a Rockster numerous times and never seen this happen.

Used peg from Motorworks is £24. I'll add it to the list of things I need for the next service I do.

Out on the bike for the first time this year. In spite of it being on the trickle charger all winter it came up with low battery on the dash along with another handful of warnings that the suspension wasn’t working. All connected to the low battery because after a few miles and turning the bike off and on they all went away.

Then I underestimated how far I’d get on the 50 miles showing left in the tank and had to divert to a petrol station with 0 miles left and put 18.1 litres into the 19 litre tank (and I don’t think I even brimmed it)

Then coming up the A68 through a small town the driver of an oncoming car tapped the top of his head. Ah, speed trap ahead I thought and I was right. The real funny thing was the car that warned me was a police car! Nice of him.

Hopefully that’s all the drama over and done with all in one.

Sorted the paperwork that work needs

Sorted the application for the lift pass insurance to pay the medical stuff not covered by the health card - being sledded down to the med centre plus the xrays etc at the med centre!

Trying to stay awake long enough to eat dinner

Hoping some friends and or colleagues come and say hello over the weekend/next week!!

Suffering a bit of a diverticular attack so in pain.
Drove home via Tesco petrol station. £1.45 everywhere, £1.31 at Tesco which was odd.
Washed the car, looks lovely when it’s clean.
Jet washed the patio.
Now sat doing nothing until I feel better.
Suns out though, lovely day out there.

Went to a workplace technology event held at The Shard by Dell, Intel and Microsoft. I was expecting to be bored off my tits, but it was actually pretty informative and useful.

34th floor, swanky toilets with heated seats and buttons I was to scared to press in case it probed me or jetwashed my balloon knot.

Having had sour dough envy from a couple of mate’s posting on Facebook, one, a chef, showing off his home cultivated starter and loaf, another with an offering from Tesco, I made this for breakfast with a Lidl bit of help:

Supermarket run in the toy, phone call with daughter who has managed to score a team sponsor hospitality seat at the Tyne Wear derby tomorrow, jammy sod! I also visited the local butcher to pick up a grain fed chicken to joint up, marinade and make a curry from, inspired by the Butter Chicken YouTube video this week from Fallow. The butcher must have seen me drive past as there was a slab of bone in ribeye sat on the counter, a decent sized steak from that fell into my bag as well!

I’m about to head out to a ‘meet the guide dogs’ event to help a mate raise sponsorship for them as part of her fundraising for the London Landmarks half marathon she’s running next month.

Washed the monkey and mowed the lawns and to keep Chris Packham onside I've left a bit to grow wild. Never done it before, but why not. A bit in the middle, not next to border.

Goldfish have started feeding this week, ain't it lovely. 🌞👍

Walked the dog, scoffed some sourdough/butter/jam for brunch courtesy of the neighbours.

Mowed my parents lawn.

Grouted some tiles, installed a toilet roll holder, glossed some woodwork.

Filled the VW up with diesel, handed over half a limb to pay for it.

Home, fizz, tea.
