My experience is the same as KFB, the one nearest to me is poor and repeatably so, I’ve tried a couple of times, hoping the poor service and food was a one off, it wasn’t. Not the same variety of choice, but I don't care if they have nice things. It cost pretty much the same, mind!
Decor and service both acceptable. And it's not far away. So I suspect I may become a regular visitor as decent independentish local steak places don't exist round these parts.
Time to check out M&B shareholder discount options I reckon!
