I never knew Ford sold the Fester to the Septics. I'd have thought it was a bit small for them!

Took my bike to Wales for Easter - my first visit there on it and it wasn't a disappointment. Spent some time riding on my own and with friends.

Isn't it called the Festival or something in the US?KungFooBob wrote: Mon Apr 10, 2023 4:12 pm I never knew Ford sold the Fester to the Septics. I'd have thought it was a bit small for them!

'Tit lives!!
Quick 25 miles at lunchtime. Oh so good to be out again. Son's birthday this weekend so didn't have time to enjoy the decent weekend weather but this'll do!

Yes, it was a foul day. Good to be out tho, until the dash warning light came up. By the time I got to the bike shop, the tyre was down to 12psi. Funnily enough, it was booked in for 2 new tyres tomorrow. Somebody was smiling down on me.

Between bike and car I've had 3 punctures in a year. When I got my bike out Sunday to put the battery back in etc I found a 5 inch nail about 2ft from my garage and an old drill bit in front of my neighbours garageWossname wrote: Tue Apr 11, 2023 5:40 pm A0E9B443-7503-4800-9C6A-0D433AF4A8ED.jpeg

Last day of the holidays so a quick run up to Binevenagh on the GS....

I see some tit has put a sign up trying to ban bikes. Not in the slightest bit official.
And now lying in the schuck......

Took my mate to Global moto Coventry to pick up his tuono 1000 and what an absolute belter it is. Very Very clean 8k miles and a great colour. 06 reg.
Never been before but it is a cracking dealership. Nice clean bikes, good choice, plenty of room to have a good poke around . Nice cafe and toilets, but it was a shit ride from Shrewsbury, motorways with continues road works with 50 limits everywhere and just too many vehicles on them. God knows what it will be like in another 20 years.
Few pic's..
First the tuono and a few others included the MV 800rr with its foot handbrake
that I've never seen before.

First ride of the year to Devils Bridge,I took my mate on his Hyabusa along,he'd never ridden through the Trough of Bowland.
Happy to say he enjoyed it despite the loose gravel, debris from farm vehicles & pot holes everywhere...
It was sunny but there's definitely a chill in the air, glad I was wearing my Winter gloves!

In other news, matey who bought your model of bike had his oil pump changed at the first service, due to a leak. Must be a new beemer thang..oil and filter and oil pump, just to be sure.
