Yes, we've done that crossing few times on Normany trips, but the wifes hates that crossing! Plus we maybe heading north of Paris to the parc natural outside Troyes?

I should be home and riding by August, so if you get past Troyes (Lyon is food central apparently ) let me know - with time to get there!! LOL

Took the LMH to https://homingpark.co.uk/ and met up with my Sister and her bloke. Camper drove like a dream and we got it set up on site and everything worked as it should. Bed was super comfy and we didn't wake up until 110:30, but that may have been down to a very large amount of wine drunk whilst watching a (very good) Adele tribute act! Cant wait to go to Spain in it!

Had ours for six years now, it's ace. The KTM will fit in the 'garage' but it's a PITA, you have to take the bars off, so I bought a 90cc monkey bike which goes in there no bother

Have a look at Newhaven Dieppe.
Firstly, customs on both sides there dgas.
Never had to open the garage up in all the times I've been through there. Crossing is a bit longer but you get further into France and can avoid that bit of peage outside Boulogne to Rouen.

Bang on. Crossing is only an hour or so longer but the time saved as to hit the Autoroute at Rouen is massive.

Never had an issue with it*. Always been on the Autoroute and heading for Versailles and around the outer Peripherique in no time. Saves so much time from the Calais routes.

EDIT *in fact I had no idea what you were talking about so I googled and the reason I've not had a problem with it is that if you come in from Dieppe you don't have to deal with it So, win win!! You go south of it and get on the A13 much faster.

I am in a few self build camper groups and every time when someone posts a picture up of them camping you can guarantee some plank will say that. Even if parked up in a supermarket car park for the night.
