this shows a before/after with the MT07, but i'm not really doing it for more power.

The redline is a lot smoother and has a fair bit more area under the line, should be a winner.weeksy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 10:24 am this shows a before/after with the MT07, but i'm not really doing it for more power.

Sadly i've got to take it apart again as one part of the sticker, the important part wasn't in the photo lol.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 1:06 pmThe redline is a lot smoother and has a fair bit more area under the line, should be a winner.weeksy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 10:24 am this shows a before/after with the MT07, but i'm not really doing it for more power.

Good luck, there's a scary amount of wiring on modern bikes, I'm used to the ignition unit having either 4 or 6 wires.

Engine tuner says "sorry that's not on our system or Woolich yet so cannot currently be done"
That's good as it saves me money, but bad as it's not crazy money and would've been interested to see how it changes the characteristics of engine and engine braking.

Get a blipper, that'll change the engine braking.

Don't exist mate. Or not that I've seen anyway.
I'm sure before spring this ECU will be workable

They're great on track. But are they really useful on road?

My GSX has one, I've no idea of I'm riding hard enough for it to be doing anything, but changing down gears is very smooth

Maybe on the road you need one if it has auto blooper downshifts?Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 4:27 pmMy GSX has one, I've no idea of I'm riding hard enough for it to be doing anything, but changing down gears is very smooth

My DD race bike was the only bike I'd ridden with one, it wasn't even a proper slipper clutch, but Ducati's APTC. Defo saved me first time out going into the woodland hairpin at Cadwell.

It's a very valid point and a major reason I've not pressed a button. Well, that and the lack of money
But as I've said I'm not even sure if next year will see me do a trackday and you're right that on the road it's not needed.
Maybe I'll make you all buy me a number plate instead

Your probably just using the clutch properly and looking after that back tyre.
