I bloody loved them as a kid, but by Christ the inside was hotter than a nuclear reactor and serious burns awaited a hungry, yet inexperienced, diner....

Theyre one of those things I'd quite like to see 'done properly'....ISTR Heston Blumenthal did them with £500/kg iberico ham and a blend of three fancy cheeses
I could go for a Mars bar done with proper decent chocolate etc to. There is an untapped market selling up market versions of junk food to a pretentious twat like me.

Many years ago i had to do an inspection of the Findus factory in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The same factory made the Crispy Pancakes and Kit-e-Kat cat food....

Re: Covid restrictions - are you adhering or not?
I live in quite a remote place, so only people i see are my elderly immediate neighbours. I go to the supermarket once every 7 to 10 days, where everyone keeps their distance. The wearing of masks in 100%.
I do go out on the motorbike most days, but have no contact with anyone, as don't stop for a coffee (I know, how anti-social of me), nor do i cross into another province.
Plus the police here (all three forces) keep putting up road blocks to check on cars with one passenger or more. I have been told the the traffic police are not very pleasant here, so avoid doing anything that will mean i have to converse with them.
It seems normal now....

I'm planning to go ride tomorrow, have an appointment with a chocolate muffin* at the RockStore. Gonna go gas the bike up shortly.

I wear a mask when I go out to the shops/post office. Where else is there to go?
I enjoy my personal space, and always have done, so staying away from People in supermarkets etc etc suits me fine. I just hope some of this rubs off on people once we stop wearing masks and having to distance ourselves. It would be nice if people did respect your personal space and not sit/stand almost on top of you.
I've not seen my family in yonks, nor Hubby's family.
2020 has sucked, for so many reasons.

Our Glorious Dictator Nero Newsolini is in quarantine again, He looked & sounded like shit on TV this morning which pleases me greatly
Media here screwed up at the weekend & accidentally admitted that recovery numbers are spiking at the same rate as infections. They keep reporting that every day we're breaking the previous days infection number.
Two weeks ago LA County had 125,000 active cases, today they said there's been 80,000 new cases in the past 10 days.. but today's number of active cases is still 125,000... oops...

Going to a café for a "chocolate muffin" doesn't sound very manly

I fancy a mini break, anyone want do a house swap for a few days, I’m located in Kent, close to the M20, M2 and beauty spots on the Isle of Sheppey and Medway estuary.
Victorian cottage with cellar, handy for food stockpiling and fresh water well.
Bring your own bog roll.
Any takers?

Not allowed to travel to the UK now and you can't come here!! (Wouldn't be a fair swap - Victorian cottage for a 13.7sqm apartment!! LOL)
