Just reached us and passed over. Lots of banging and flashing. It rained so hard the gutters couldn't cope!MingtheMerciless wrote: Wed Sep 07, 2022 8:44 pm Sitting in our slightly leaky conservatory watching nature put on a great light and sound display.

The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.

We had to cancel all our holiday bookings coz of the building works next door.
This couple suddenly appeared and wanted 12 months.
Price was agreed and we went from zero income for next year, to a steady income.

Drinking coffee in my dressing gown and feeling excited. My bags are packed and I'm off to Wales as soon as the sun comes up. There's a streak of rain going across north-mid Wales where I'm headed which I may miss and the rest of the week's forecast looks fine. I'm not due back to work until next Tuesday so may head elsewhere before heading back down. I'll post some pics

Sat outside in me baby suit. Having a mini heatwave with a gentle southerly warm breeze.
Still 28c now and it's a bit warm without the usual constant northerly breeze.
CBA to pull the pool cover off.
But the beer is cold from the Yorickshire Arms

"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Soaking in the bath.
Got back from Wales, which surprised me by being nice, cleaned the caravan and unloaded it, then sorted the garden out, then did loads of washing, then cleaned the house right through, then went shopping.
From all this I have learned not to go shopping the day before they close for a short time.
Mick.

Just at my private clinic waiting for an X-Ray.
This beautiful thing just breezed in. Classy skimpy dress, long bronzed legs and golden hair. Wowsers.
Turns out she's the new doctor.
I'm gonna be poorly tmrw and feel really unwell on Thursday and Friday

More house stress. Buyer had gone AWOL along with their solicitors. Now this morning after some more panic, buyer is ready to go but the solicitor is on holiday so hoping to get someone else to get it done today. We've got until 4pm today before we need to let the removals company know if we are moving on Friday. I've had plenty of anxiety in my life, and this is right up there.

You'd think they'd be better at this considering how many homes are sold each yeartricol wrote: Wed Sep 21, 2022 10:49 am More house stress. Buyer had gone AWOL along with their solicitors. It's a shambles of a system. Now everyone is ready to complete on Friday and there's an issue with the buyers lender, and not even the buyer knows what it is!

It's quite complex here and needs everybody to be in 1 room at same time. About 12 at ours IIRC.tricol wrote: Wed Sep 21, 2022 1:19 pm It's a shambles of a system. Now everyone is ready to complete on Friday and there's an issue with the buyers lender, and not even the buyer knows what it is!
And they all sign the deeds.

Watching SpongeBob Movie with my Great Nephew and Niece. Or, at least, I would be if they shut up so I can hear it properly!
