The last original member, even though he left early in the day. That band must be one of the greatest tragedies in pop history, yet some of the most evocative songs of the era.

Hackmans cause of death was chronic heart issues & alzheimers, his missus died from Hanta virus. They think she died a few days before Gene.

The dog had recent surgery so was kept in a crate.
Press release here.
Looks like she died first, she must have been Genes carer and him and the dog after.

80's squeaky-clean family pop group Five Star is now Four Star....
BBC News - Five Star singer Stedman Pearson dies aged 60
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5y9xvg2125o
Probably more famous for the live phone-in incident on kid's show Going Live.

In my early days of working, I was in with a customer, when one of the said she had just got a tattoo! Somewhat surprised I ask what it was - and she promptly showed me the Five* tattoo on her arse.
I stopped asking people questions like that ! I did wory about the longevity of such a display of commitment - especially as he was arrested shortly after for indecency in a public toilet

My Son knows Steadman quite well. They worked together a few times. When he told my Son who he was, my Son was none the wiser as being half of Steadmans age, he'd never heard of 5 Star!

Am I right in thinking that Steadman was arrested for indecency or something ?
