Came back from the tip with another pressure washer, a CO2 fire extinguisher, a couple of 600x400mm eurocrates, a plastic pallet and a couple of roasting pans.

And the pressure washer worked. It had been condemned because of a damaged flex. It now has a slightly shorter, but undamaged, flex.

The fire extinguisher works too. Time to teach the spawn how for use fire extinguishers. On real fires. Just need to buy a holiday cottage in Wales.

It dug in cos the weight on it was too heavy. Arse right back so your weights over the drive wheel, then power on...

I tumble off nearly everytime we go out, but all are just toppling over while negotiating summat. Not often a fast one

Queued half an hour to get a parking spot, then half an hour outside queuing in the cold on foot to get into Marks and Sparks, only to find they'd sold out of King Prawns in Blankets!!!

Had a quiet day. Worked on an essay. Heard a friend of mine was sitting in final vigil with her husband at the hospice. Cancer is a bastard. His BMW's, Triumphs and Ducati's will miss him, as will his wife and daughter. His wife, my friend, studied with me and was ordained two days after me.

We didn’t even bother getting out of the car when we saw the queue, we also aborted getting fish n chips on the coast due to traffic so went continental with baguette, cheese, ham and salami as a sarnie with some crisp. R’n’R!

Had a nice day mooching round York yesterday, wasn’t too busy early on but got a lot busier after lunch.
