Worked last night, we found a major cock up on safety paperwork, basically two people had the same version of a document but they had different safety information on them!. Now being investigated at Senior level.

Slept badly this morning as I was sleeping "Petris" with the dogs.

Dog walk in a minute and then off to LBS to collect wheel after it was repaired/re-bearing-ed.

Been to my cousin's funeral in sunny Sheffield.

Argued with my mates coffee set up this morning -

Overfilled the coffee-holder-thingy from the coffee grinder thingy
Couldn't get the coffee-holder-thingy onto the machine for freaking ages

This is a short list but it took a LONG time - far too long before a first coffee on a morning of what is likely to be a slightly stressy day off!!!!


Then, after feeding one of the cats (haven't seen the other since it came and jumped on the bed at 6am being everso friendly for the first time ever as a demand for food - which I ignored ) I tried for a second coffee

Over filled the the coffee-holder-thingy again but got it on the machine without too much argument this time!!
Pushed button to 'wake up' machine
Buttons flashed for a long time - they are supposed to stop flashing when it's ready
Buttons still flashing
Turns out the machine is not 'ready' if the water tank is only half full - FFS

Making coffee in the morning should not be this difficult!!!


Machines are pretty tho - I'll have worked all this out by the end of the ten days

As it was, the sunbathing was reduced to a little bit this afternoon and when the clouds had started to appear .

Still, it was lovely to do cos I rarely if ever sunbathe - my skin thinks I'm ginger
