Booked a trip to Copenhagen, with a bit of Southern Sweden thrown in

Just need to decide where to stay in Sweden for one night...

I would skip your usual approach and find something other than Steak in Copenhagen

Not that the Danes don't love meat (i think they have one of the largest per capita consumptions in the world), but cause they do other stuff way better.

Feel free to pepper me with recommendations - aside from having a day or two wandering the city, and a couple of days road trip into Sweden and back (over the bridge, natch, then back on the Helsingborg ferry), I made zero plans yet...

Given one night will be in Sweden, maybe I'll save the steak night for then

Gotta have Smørrebrød at some point for sure. This place is pretty classic, as you'd expect for somewhere open for >200 years. However there are loads of places which do it.

Pastries, obviously They're called Wienerbrød in Danish..."Vienese Bread". This place was amazing, but a little out of the way. However last time we were in Copenhagen we stayed in a flat above it.

Dunno about the calculator, but the Danish treat name literally means "Dangerously/treacherously brown"

Diagnosed the quad. (After getting covering in dried mud ).

Turns out the reason it's pissed oil all over the garage floor is because a crank case bolt has gone missing .

At least it's an easy fix

Home from the Caribbean. It’s bloody cold here.

I’d like to say everything went smoothly but I went to phone the mini bus to get picked up for the car park...and no phone.

I had it on the plane but it’s gone missing between there and the airport terminal. I got them to check the plane and reported it missing at the airport but I really don’t hold out much hope. Much phoning ensued cancelling the internet banking. It hasn’t been turned on since I lost it and it’s set to erase when it is so there’s that.

Just as we were congratulating ourselves on for once staying within budget a new phone well and truly blew a hole in it

Another Uni Offer-Holder's day - we walked just over 5 miles around the campus according to my daughter, felt like more...

Two cruise-ins with the F350 & pup. At the first one, a worker came over from Tractor Supply Co & fed treats to the various dogs present.

I've been over in that there Engerland helping my eldest lad move house from West Hallam to Ilkeston. We had very suitable weather,one of the days even saw 18°

The roads around the area are fucking atrocious,I thought our were bad. The car was hammered to bollox.

Anyway,we had brekkies here before heading home on the Shitterpool ferry. Man if I ever need to use that thing again it'll be too soon.

Drove the coach today - for only the second time with passengers!!! (ok, second day, two passenger transfers each day!!)

No issues this time

Well, except forgetting how to unlock the luggage compartment doors when we arrived at Grenoble Luckily, the lovely and very kind driver I met there last time was parked next to me and came over to say hi and 'is all ok'? I just said 'I can't unlock the doors for the luggage' and he pointed at the correct buttons and it all worked!!! He's so kind! Last time I drove the coach to Grenoble he followed me from Aime to the motorway, always holding back a bit further away than most, and not overtaking until we actually got to the motorway (whereas some others overtook on the twisty dual carriage way and that did cause a few nerves to surface!!). When we chatted last time he was just so chilled and kind - most other drivers are fairly friendly but they know I'm a novice and it shows; but this guy treats me like anyone else, helps without making me feel like I'm completely stupid!!!

Anyway, I'm getting the drive up the mountain a bit better now - the auto box is a bit shit on the steep bits if you don't keep up some speed and I'm not quite ready to go that fast yet!!!

Now chilling as have the day off tomorrow

We'd been faffing around with planning how to start the trip so decided to book the end first and work backwards.
