Been on a call with colleagues in our Manchester office, to arrange a joint London/Manny quiz night for the charity a colleague and his wife set up in memory of his daughter. She died last year, aged just 14.
We were talking about doing rounds based on the things she loved, such as the colour pink, Disney & music, plus also a round on blood transfusions, which is something that was vital in her care, to get people to think about donating if they don't already. My colleague, her dad, was on the call.
Trying to put something together now but I'm snotting up and this room is suddenly very dusty. I can't imagine what the family must still be be going through.
Edit: just got this through:
Probably also worth mentioning – when background music is playing, please avoid Natasha Beddingfield: Unwritten, as this was M’s funeral song
I'm gone.
