Looking at the middle photo I thought the Lego man had shat out a vampire-killing stake.

Mind, I bet that's a fecking relief to have out. I had a minuscule thorn in my thumb last weekend that was way more uncomfortable than a tiny object should be.

Assume you'll be email the physios and letting them know about this very odd development of cyst/tendinitis?

Well i've cancelled the appointment for Friday as i'm pretty sure the thorn may have been the cause :)

The baffling part is, how the fuck did that not cause more issues for the majority of the time ?

Lego man was the best representation i had to hand for scale.

Probably took a while for the infection to develop.

It's like one of those war stories where somebody coughs up a bullet 30 years after being shot. :D

PS Hope you got it all out. Should have, it still looks pretty solid/woody rather than falling apart.

I'm not a qualified doctor, but I'd say that's a fairly safe assumption. :P

It is weird that it stayed embedded so long, with only intermittent signs. Ever thought of changing career to porcupine handler or something along those lines?

Or the joke where the old soldier takes a Viagra, decides to have a wank and shoots the cat.

Or something...

I'll stop there.

Alien eggs do that. They make the host aware only when the contents of the egg are free in the host's bloodstream. Some time after hatching the host feels discomfort and removes the empty shell.

The next stage for the host can often be quite pleasing,he/she will notice an improvement in physical performance and libido, you may find by the Summer time your young lad won't see what way you went on the downhill and the wife will be just worn out,but amid all the backslapping and possible newspaper interviews, sadly the clock is ticking.

I won't go into the detail of the final stage out of respect to folk who may be eating lunch, but suffice to say there will be much abuse of the banhammer, redecorating and some community minded individual needs to think about stepping up to run RTTL Mark 2.

Very soon. :(

I thought the bent over Lego man signified you'd had the old anal probing

Just had another meeting with Ofsted, 2nd one today.

Just had the good news, it looks, subject to all sorts of checks and balances, that one of the schools that I am a Governor of, may have just earned an Outstanding rating. :D :banana-dance:

Got back from work to notice a strange smell in the house. Had a good root around and found it was strongest in the cupboard under the stairs. The electric incomer had a black tarry gloop oozing out where it meets the service head.

Phoned northern Powergrid and someone was here within 20 mins - service head in a pretty bad way so it’s getting changed tonight - slight issue is they’ve had to cut the power to 70 other homes in order to isolate it to change it.

Oops!

I’ve resisted the urge for the past three work days to resign early and take some unpaid leave between jobs, I’m not so sure I’ll resist tomorrow though…

So far it's DrizzleWatch 2025! & we have Ch5 weather-guesser talking to viewers like we're toddlers. I think he judges the IQ of viewers by the morons he has to work with.

I even put on one of my thicker Winter T Shirts today.

While waiting for my tyres to be fitted I had my first Costco Hotdog.

I dunno how they do it, massive hotdog and a bottom less coke for £1.50.

Back from LA... storm my arse. Did manage to get the ST a bit squiggly on the freeway though.
