Not all of them silly. But there are videos out there of animal remains which have been ritually slaughtered or mutilated.

Circumstantial regarding pets except for reports of migrants cooking wild ducks by the roadside! ISTR reading they are outside large gang controlled slum housing and selling it to the residents.

Difficult to establish the truth but it will come out over time.

Are you saying all the reports of pets going missing in areas flooded with migrants are false?
The duck story really makes me laugh, the US actually has a duck hunting season and thousands of US born people shoot and eat duck every year. Suddenly when brown people do it, it is somehow barbaric.
Likewise millions of Europeans ( and SE Asian ) eat carp. And we see it as primitive

I wonder what they think of a Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney pie

Which, coincidentally, would probably improve drastically if they increased the dog content.

Furriners and their eating habits eh? The French eat horses of course - lovely, pretty horses.

IKR, it's almost a comically trivial observation. Then again, I think the main issue from that story was more that this was happening in neighbourhoods which previously had not seen any "street vendors" butchering and cooking wildlife on the kerbside. Don't know how many people on here have visited or lived in some of these third world countries, Haiti, Somalia, Venezuela or basically half the middle east. They have a rather more relaxed attitude to what you can do on the side of the road.

So if I saw a group of people setting up a meat market outside my front door, the last thing I'd be complaining about is the colour of their skin. It's actually not about that, it's about a host nation being turned into a pastiche of the countries these people supposedly wish to leave behind.

But in other neighbourhood butchering and killing kids in schools is "just a fact of life" according to JD Vance. Odd how it's just a racist issue really

Dunno about primitive, I think a) we just think of carp as those things people spend a lot of money on as a decorative garden feature or b) if we've tried we know it's another of those things you can eat, but why would you? Like pike etc or c) we tend to think that bottom feeder fish are somehow 'unclean' for some reason.

There's also lots of things that used to be popular in England that aren't now, like eel, but the Dutch love it. (I like smoked eel too). Maybe it's scarcity?

ISTR carp is the centrepiece dish for Christmas in some European countries.

"Her weak areas"? You mean policy?...

Trump obviously thought he would be able deal with the stage managed hostile environment and he was wrong. That was always a risk, in a debate where real journalists ask real questions, Kamala would be totally lost. It's why she has been hiding away all this time. Being arrogant and assuming he would be able to debate Kamala anywhere anyhow could cost him the presidency.

ABC: "Kamala, everybody loves you, why are you so fabulous?"

ABC: "Same question to you Trump. We all hate you, why are you such a cunt?"

The only positive thing to come out of this debacle is how obvious the bias was. ABC incorrectly "fact checking" Trump and allowing Harris to spread the same lies they have been using in their more overt propaganda campaign.

No doubt Trump did not come out of that situation well, what effect that will have on the election is unknown. There is just enough time for the Harris charade to fall apart all by itself though.
She certainly has weak areas; immigration and policy u-turns being two of them. That Trump couldn’t keep focus long enough to pin her down on them is his fault, not the fault of ABC.

But I suppose the losing side always blame the ref ..

I suspect he won’t be keen for a second debate.

Pretty funny claiming its not fair cause its staged managed to soft ball Harris.

Trump has completely died on his arse whenever he's asked a straight question by a straight interviewer.

"You weren't supposed to say that"..."you're fake news" and so on.

That total car crash he did with that aussie guy after Covid was comedy.

Years ago I did a google image search for "Propaganda Posters" after initially searching for "Soviet Space Posters".
Theres a few cool space posters they made during the space race.
Anyway, once bad seen a load of posters the Germans had made in the 1930s and early 40s, British ones from around the fiirst and second world wars, Soviet ones from the second world war and so on it becomes apparent that they generally follow a similar storyline.
Forriners killing babies, looking like monsters, raping our fair ladies, swarms of immigrants yada yada with very little evidence.
Same old shite, just rehashed with a different enemy. Its worth having a trawl through it as once you see it you'll spot it all over the place.

Annoyingly I find I must agree. Trump was arrogant enough to think he could overcome the inevitable bias and he was wrong. This should have been so easy, just let Kamala fill the debate with empty rhetoric and Trump really could have just said little or nothing for a win.

But whoever wrote the script really knew how to push his buttons, right from the off when she ran over to shake hands you just knew they were going to play him for the narcissist he really is.

I don't care about the set up or the biased questioning and fact checking, it's all about optics. Politics has nothing to do with this sort of side show, it is merely entertainment for the ignorant masses who will decide the fate of America and the world on little more than a whim. "Oh, Trump didn't do too well", "Kamala wasn't as bad as I thought".

Irrelevant really except to the vascillations of the uneducated masses who will swing the vote.

Democracy: the worst form of governance except for all the others.

Let's hope there's at least another chance to see behind the facade and for the American voters to see exactly what Kamala is really like. An empty suit being paraded by the same people who have been running Biden for the past 4 years...

They fact checked Trump 5 times, they didn't fact check Harris on at least 4 absolute whoppers.

Yep. No argument from me. They rigged it, dumped onTrump, gave Kamala a free ride. Blah, blah...

That was always going to happen. Trump did not deal with it well. They set him up and he fell for it. Shit happens.

There is just about time for Harris to slip up and for the mask to slip. She only has to open her mouth in one unscripted moment and its all over.

1) Trump says Pelosi is responsible for security at the Capitol. True. Muir intervenes on Kamala’s behalf by cutting him off with snarky retort, doesn’t acknowledging the validity of Trump’s statement, and immediately redirects to Kamala to set up her “answer" he knows is coming. This is direct action by Muir to affect the outcome of this exchange.

2) Kamala says she was at the Capitol on J6. She was there in the morning, but left to go to DNC HQ prior to the riot. Critical information is omitted. No fact-check.

3) Kamala says Trump incited a mob to attack the Capitol. False. Trump’s “peacefully and patriotically” comments are ignored. Trump is not charged with inciting violence. No fact check.

4) Kamala says that “some" police officers died on January 6. False. No fact check.

5) Kamala recites the Charlottesville “Fine People” hoax. This has been thoroughly and repeatedly debunked. No fact check.

6) Kamala recites the “stand back and stand by” hoax. This is designed to infer that Trump was ordering a “militia” to act on later orders, when he was clearly asking for a cooling of tensions. No fact check.

7) Kamala recites the “bloodbath" hoax. Trump was talking about the automobile industry, not violence. No fact check.

Kamala: "I grew up a middle class kid and my friend was sexually assaulted in high school"

Oh okay well that explains it thanks Kamala

This 'fix' baloney is just setting Sleepy Trump up to swerve further debates and therefore avoid scrutiny.

Well that would be "a" view, certainly, not "the" view.

When did Alastair Campbell stop being an asshole? I must have missed that memo.
