There's really no need to remap a 911 Turbo to 780bhp :eh:

As above, it's the car virtually all others are judged against and that includes the power train. I can't imagine many half day tuning sessions are gonna improve on the OE settings. :obscene-birdiedoublered:

The thing is, the power in a 911 is so well calibrated and integrated into everything it makes it super approachable. Indeed thats part of the criticism against them, they're too easy to go super duper fast in.

Just whacking on a load more boost upsets all that very careful and thoughtful German effort

I agree. A standard Wraith is classier, but rich people need more exclusivity!

Rolls-Royce famously will do basically anything you want to a car you buy from them. Why the fuck would you give it to the tasteless muppets at Mansory to fuck about with? :D

Not a fan of PDK but that’s a go anywhere, drive all day long, car that will probably outlive us all.

I’m somewhat shocked to find out after all these years that I’m a Porsche man, but they’re just so good.
I've bagged a ticket now. I bet i'd take the cash alternative, but you've got me tempted to run it for a while at least...

A lot of these sites irk me slightly with the van comps.

https://7daysperformance.co.uk/product/ ... -msrt-2000

I don't want or need an MSRT, it's not an actual van !!! It's a massive car with a massive boot (yes i know this sort of defines van anyway).

But you can't get anything worthwhile in it, plus only 2 seats at the front... it's pretty sodding pointless.

What we need is a nice LWB Transit Custom... I didn't win the Orange one last week... so need more of that and less of the MSRT models

I guess the ticket sales must have pushed them that way, but they all used to do normal vans, lwb crafters, transits etc?

I'd be interested to know how many winners take the cash and how may take the car, and for the latter how long they keep the car.

I admit to entering one of these, it was for the Bultaco, nothing else has even tickled my fancy. That van^, nice but I want three seats, steel wheels and I'm not that bothered by moar power.

On almost every car I'd take the cash alternative but on that I'd take the car without hesitation, I'd run it for a year and then get a good whack of cash back. I don't think it's an 'investment' car so it might depreciate a bit but I don't know, I had a bog standard C2 and got a load more when I sold it than I bought it for, although I think the market has had a bit of a down turn.

That's such a good car though I could see it staying in my collection forever.
Hmm, might offset some of the plummeting residual of my Velar, so perhaps i should keep it if I win it... :D

I think you can check the winners and what option they take on the website, I think the majority take the cash.
Thanks. It's the sort of thing I think about doing when timewasting but by then I've forgotten I wanted to do it.

Yep, most of them take the cash.

Some of the comp sites really don't like my FF preferences, I frequently get 403 pages, the Bultaco comp site I had to view in test mode. Understandable but mildly vexing.

I'm having a tickle on the Track Hawk draw, I'd love to keep it for a week or 3 but the insurance would be a ball ache, so easy option is taking the cash
